Fruits and Vegetables Avoid the Risk of Obesity



In the Mediterranean diet, consumption of fruit and vegetables occupies a central place. I use more fruit vegetables, and even though I do not follow a strict diet, both occupy a prominent place in my eating habits.

There are several positive effects regular consumption of fruits and vegetables because the vitamin and nutritional contribution that these foods made by turns a resource par excellence for our organization.

But the benefits they not only stay in the nutritional field, but also fall within the framework of obesity. At least that is what it suggests an investigation of Miguel Hernandez University of Alicante.

The conclusion of this study that has followed closely the good nutritional habits of 206 adults who followed a Mediterranean diet, prolonged consumption of fruits and vegetables contributes positively to reduce the risk of increasing the weight of our organism and medium or long term ( more or less ten years).

While the benefits of fruits and vegetables are more of itself, does not continue to make more reference to the importance of these foods, even if more could have a positive effect on levels of obesity in our body.
